Route 66 Revisited

Curt Dale Clark (one of the actors in Les Miserables) got us tickets to go see his show Route 66 Revisted at American Music Theatre in Lancaster. Curt and Mark Robin co-wrote the show, which features a montage of classic music from the 40s through today. Great show, we had lots of fun dancing in our seats and singing along!

Synopsis from the website:

"It all started in the dustbowl of the American South, in jukejoints and roadhouses along the stretches of highway that link our nation. So join us as we take a trip along old Route 66, and trace the history of America's music from the 1940s to today. We'll travel through time and explore the music of the legendary artists who defined the landscape of American culture. From Muddy Waters to Motown to John Mellencamp, it's all branches on the same musical tree. And with stops in a 1940s Chicago Blues Club, a Missouri soda shop, The Rusty Revolver nightclub, and the modern-day Los Angeles Palladium, Route 66 Revisited is truly a musical journey you'll never forget!"
